I was so thrilled when Jill & Samer’s wedding day finally arrived! It felt like ages since we did their engagement session last summer! Having the opportunity to work with them prior to their wedding day was a great way to become more familiar with who they are and how they felt in front of a camera. It was obvious that, engagement session or wedding day, these two were going to be fun… and a little unpredictable!
When I arrived at the hotel to meet up with Jill and her bridesmaids, it was a nice and relaxed atmosphere. One of my favorite moments was when I saw Jill writing a card to Samer. The slightest smile would cross her lips every few seconds as she wrote down the message to her husband-to-be. The rest of the preparations were as smooth and enjoyable with her sister and bridesmaids by her side.

I had the pleasure of having Katia, of Katia Forero Photography, assist me for Jill & Samer’s wedding. While I was hanging out with Jill and the girls, she caught up with Samer and the guys. It is always interesting to see how different the preparations are for the soon to be husband and wife… Jill was not playing video games Samer!
St. Paul Cathedral just adds an extra touch of magic to the ceremony. I loved looking down the long aisle to where her father waited to walk his little girl to her future husband.
Katia caught the same moment from a different perspective!
The perfect setting for such a sacred moment.
A couple of images from Katia’s perspective in the balcony. Unbelievable!

With it being a rainy day, we were thrilled to have the Carnegie Institute right across the street.
A bride and her superman! The last time that we met prior to the wedding, Samer said that he had an idea for him and the groomsmen. With a little smirk on his face, I wasn’t sure what to expect. When he told me that he has been collecting comic books since he was a child and that he was a big fan of superman, well, I was as giddy as a school girl! I couldn’t wait to see what he had in store! I was not disappointed!

The reception was held in the Music Hall at Carnegie Museum. Every detail was perfect!
Before their big entrance, the bridal party gathered on the grand staircase for one last picture.
This reception was one amazing party! The band started off the celebration with a traditional dance that swept both Jill and Samer off of their feet!

Just when Jill thought she was safe…
Their first “slow dance” as husband and wife.
And the party continued… a little father son celebration.
I love when one picture can capture the essence of a moment!
Towards the end of the night Samer decided to introduce their guests to the superheros. One after the other, they revealed their hidden identities. The guests loved it as much as I did! Thank you Jill & Samer for inviting me to capture this special day for the two of you. I hope that these images continue to remind you of this wonderful start to your happily ever after.
